My name is Ana Isabel Casquilho, I'm twenty-three years, and I'm from Portugal.
I started dancing at four, as, by then, I loved watching dance and was very fond of experiencing it myself. At the age of ten, when I started my classes at the National Conservatory of Lisbon, my dream was to make dancing my career. I didn't know then how hard and defying this choice would be as, I'm sure now, I was too young to understand it.
Nevertheless, I kept on going, determined to learn and live my dream. I finished the National Ballet School by the age of eighteen and went to Codarts for a BA. Now, I'm graduated from Codarts and dancing professionally in Germany.
I'm living the dream, so to say. The fact that I have now achieved the profession I've always wanted, and worked so hard for, is very rewarding. I believe that if you work hard and never give up on yourself, you will always be in the way that leads you to success.
